Button and Metal Findings Magnets

So this past weekend I spent Saturday crafting with my #1 daughter, Jennelle.  We had seen an idea of turning thrift shop jewelry into magnets, so we decided to make our own from scratch.  We had a lot of fun and some success!

What do you think?  The buttons were some very old ones from my mom and the findings were given to me by a very generous boss I used to work for.

Altered Rolodex Cards

They have come up with yet another item to alter - Rolodex Cards.  I will have to admit this was really fun and quite a challenge.  My collaging skills really need a little work, but I gave it my best.  Both sides of the cards are shown above.

My poor jade plant was outgrowing its pot and uprooting.

It was much happier once repotted.  The stem is turning into a trunk!

Bling ATCs
